Our neighbors deserve action, not more excuses.

Katie Boshart GlaserI am running for State Representative because HD 11 is a vibrantly diverse district that has been unequally represented for many years. This beautiful district runs from just west of Lebanon, where I live, down to Creswell, through rural Linn and Lane Counties and includes the densely urban neighborhoods near the University of Oregon. It’s a large and diverse district but only certain voices are being heard.

While geographically diverse, I believe our district is much more unified than divided. As I meet neighbors and voters across this wonderful district, I hear many shared concerns including; quality K-12 education, helping our young adults find the best career path after high school or in furthering their education, finding solutions to skyrocketing housing costs, working to fix our PERS deficit in an equitable, sustainable way, and investing in real solutions to our mental health crisis.

Most importantly, people tell me they want a representative who can collaborate, listen and ultimately make decisions that represent all of this district we call home. We need someone who can sit down and listen to both sides and bring everyone together. To hear all viewpoints and make a decision based on what is best for our district. I believe I have the experience, skills and tenacity needed to represent all of us.

I look forward to meeting you over the next few months and hope to earn your vote.
